Cambridge Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5K 2026

The Cambridge Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5K begins and ends at the historic Coila Church on State Route 372 in Cambridge, New York. This Thanksgiving morning 5K is open to runners and walkers. Strollers are permitted at the rear, and walkers are welcome provided they complete the course within the event's time limit. The course leads from Coila Church towards the village, proceeds along Old Coila Road, crosses sections of downtown Cambridge, passes the old Cambridge Hotel, and circles back via Main Street. Participants receive snacks, beverages, photographs, and small tokens. Local prizes, sourced from donations, are awarded to the top male and female finishers, with distinct awards for those over 60. Proceeds from the initial four events supported local charities including the Cambridge Food Pantry, Cambridge Valley Rescue Squad, and Cambridge Fuel Fund.
