Central Illinois Summer Trail Series #2 2026

Central Illinois Summer Trail Series #1 begins at Kinsey Park in Peoria, Illinois. The 4.16-mile loop runs on dirt, not pavement, and starts at 6:30 p.m. This is the first event in a short series that also visits Metamora and Washington. Runners may register for multiple races with a discounted bundle. The Peoria course follows the same loop as the Yellowbrick Backyard Ultra, offering local runners a preview of a route connected to the area's ultramarathon community. Expect approximately 240 feet of elevation gain, featuring a blend of hills and flat sections, with Wizard of Oz-themed areas along the loop.
