About this race
The Denham Springs High School Cross Country team hosts their fifth-annual Dog Days of Summer 5k & 1-Mile Run along historic River Road. The course offers shade. Proceeds support the DSHS Cross Country and Track and Field programs. Finishers in the 5k and 1-mile (14 and under) receive a custom medal. T-shirts are available while supplies last. Post-race drinks and food are provided.
