Donut Dash 2026

The Donut Dash is a July race held at Peg Bond Center on North Island Avenue in Batavia, Illinois. It features a certified 5K, a youth 1 Mile, and a Munchkin Fun Run. The 5K begins at 7:30 AM, followed by the 1 Mile Youth Competitive Run at 8:30 AM and the Munchkin Fun Run at 8:45 AM. The certified 5K offers a measured course. The 1 Mile is for participants aged 6 to 14, and the Munchkin Fun Run is for children 6 and under. Coffee and donuts are provided at the finish line, making the race name literal. Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers in the 5K, to 5K age groups from 10 and under to 70 and over, and to the top boy and girl in each age category from 6 to 14 in the mile. Additionally, there are awards for best costumes. Jogging strollers may begin from the rear, and dogs are not permitted.
