Dragons 5K presented by Orthopedic Associates 2026

The Dragons 5K, presented by Orthopedic Associates, is a timed 5K race in Dayton, Ohio. It begins and ends at Day Air Ballpark, home of the Dayton Dragons. The race takes place on a summer morning and is one of the largest timed 5K events in the Miami Valley, drawing over 3,000 participants annually. A virtual option is also available, allowing runners and walkers to complete their 5K remotely and submit results online. The ballpark location defines the race; it is as much a Dayton Dragons event as a road race. Registration provides a Dragons 5K T-shirt, a finisher medal, a Dragons hat, and four lawn tickets to a Dragons game. Early entrants will also receive two bonus stadium seats. Orthopedic Associates, the Dragons' orthopedic provider for over ten years, presents the race.
