Eagle 5K, 10K, & 13.1M at Charlotte, NC (29) 2026

The Eagle 5K, 10K, & 13.1M in Charlotte is a road race held in the Mallard Creek area of Charlotte, North Carolina. All three distances begin and end at Mallard Creek Playground, located opposite Mallard Creek Elementary School. Participants select either a 5K, 10K, or half marathon. All races utilize the same start/finish zone on Mallard Creek Road. Registration is exclusively online via RunSignup; there is no on-site sign-up. Packet pickup is available just before the race start. The courses are out-and-back routes featuring a hill at the beginning and end. Runners will encounter this incline as they depart and upon their return. The 5K completes the out-and-back loop once, the 10K completes it twice, and the half marathon completes it four times. This structure emphasizes rhythm and pacing for the longer distances rather than varied scenery. The event provides finisher medals, awards points for a series, and includes a best costume prize, accommodating both competitive runners and those participating for a local, themed race day.
