Eden Epic 2026

The Eden Epic begins at Liberty Park in Eden, Utah, situated near Liberty and the mountains overlooking the Eden Valley. This is a challenging mountain bike race offering Full Course, Short Course, and e-bike categories. The complete route covers approximately 46 miles, featuring over 9,600 feet of elevation gain. Participants will spend extended periods on their bikes, with the race commencing with a 4.3-mile ascent, meaning the effort begins almost at once. The course navigates singletrack, doubletrack, and dirt roads, including rocky, muddy, steep forest roads and loose, technical trails. The highest elevation reaches over 8,200 feet, with an average gradient of about 7% and pitches up to 37%. Some variations incorporate hike-a-bike segments. Competitors travel from across the nation and internationally, attracted to a race that prioritizes mountain biking adventure rather than solely speed. Well-supplied aid stations assist riders in completing a demanding day in the mountains.
