Firecracker 4 Miler and 1 Mile Fun Run 2026

The Firecracker 4 Miler and 1 Mile Fun Run is a Fayetteville Running Club event held at North South Brewing in downtown Fayetteville, North Carolina. The primary event is a 4-mile run/walk. A separate, untimed 1-mile kids walk/run is limited to 50 participants; children 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult. There is no race-day registration. The event welcomes runners, walkers, children, strollers, and leashed dogs. The 4-mile course begins at North South Brewing, ascends a hill, circles Arsenal Park, proceeds down Hay Street, connects to the Linear Park Trail near N. Cool Springs, and returns via the Festival Park vicinity. Minor route adjustments may occur due to construction. The race embraces a red, white, and blue theme, encouraging participants to wear corresponding attire. Proceeds benefit scholarships for local high school students and local nonprofits focused on community outreach, women's support, homelessness services, and animal welfare. All participants receive a shirt, finishers receive a medal, and the finish area provides water, snacks, and food trucks.
