Flight to the Finish 2026

Flight to the Finish is a flat, fast 5K at 2400 Dowie Memorial Drive in Zion, Illinois, with a free Kids 100m Dash. The 5K starts in the morning, and the setup is aimed at families, first-time 5K runners, regular runners, and kids rather than just serious racers. The event is run through the Zion Park District and is tied to the Zinnia and Monarch Festival. Awards go to overall and age-group finishers, First Time 5Kers get their own recognition, and the Kids Dash gives ribbons to the top three finishers under 10. The day also includes a T-shirt, door prizes, and a Bubble Bash Celebration after the racing.
