Frida 5Kahlo 2026

The Frida 5K is a summer 5K race held in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi. The start and finish lines are located at the Mockingbird Café on 2nd Street. Bay Saint Louis Running Company organizes the event, with runners beginning at 8:00 AM. Packet pickup is available at the café prior to the start. This race uses manual timing, giving it the feel of a local festival rather than a chip-timed event. The course winds through the heart of Old Town Bay St. Louis. The Frida Kahlo theme enhances the experience from the outset, encouraging participants to wear Frida-inspired attire, with a dedicated award for the best costume. Additional awards are presented to the overall male and female winners, as well as to age group winners in five-year increments up to 70+. Following the run, attendees can enjoy light snacks, water, beer, and mimosas. The race also serves as the opening event for Frida Fest in the Bay.
