Frosty Five: 5K Costume Fun Run 2026

Frosty Five is a 5K costume run and walk held at Pearsall Park in San Antonio. It begins at 8:00 AM with a brief announcement beforehand. This is the event's 10th annual running. The setup is straightforward: a free, non-timed fun run for those seeking a relaxed holiday morning, alongside a timed 5K option. The timed 5K includes IAAP timing, age-group awards, a frosty medal, Edragon production coins, and a long-sleeve shirt. The course is located in Pearsall Park on Old Pearsall Road. The participants are primarily friends, families, and dogs, not exclusively competitive runners. Holiday costumes are encouraged. The event benefits Street2Feet, a nonprofit organization assisting individuals in the homeless community through running programs, providing gear, training, and race entries. Attendees can contribute by donating money, lightly used athletic clothing, or athletic shoes. Previous donations filled over 10 bags of running apparel and raised more than $1,000 for Street2Feet.
