Hot Diggity Dog 5K 2026

The Hot Diggity Dog 5K is a free, timed 5K starting at Saint Albans High School each Saturday morning in late November at 9:00 a.m. This is a straightforward community run, not a large commercial event. Runners receive timing without an entry fee, and the event supports local animals. The race collects donations for the Putnam County Animal Shelter, including dog food, cat food, litter, toys, and similar supplies brought on race day. Commemorative shirts are available for purchase during registration, but runners must order by the shirt deadline to ensure they receive one.
