This intermediate mountain bike ride starts at Austin Bluffs Open Space on Thursday evenings, running from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Riders should check in by 5:45 p.m. to locate their group before departure. The meeting point is the lot adjacent to the UCCS indoor track, situated across Nevada Avenue from Trader Joe's. Members parking in this lot may incur a kiosk fee. The ride emphasizes group cohesion, with no intention of leaving slower participants behind. The atmosphere is intended to be social, fostering a group outing with friends alongside physical exertion. Participants should bring a dependable mountain bike, helmet, water, snacks, and sunscreen.
