About this race
Join the 5th annual Juneteenth Freedom Run/Walk, commemorating the day 250,000 slaves in Texas were declared free. This year, we partner with the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Iota Nu Lambda Chapter to generate scholarships, launching 4 new scholarships from race profits. Participants receive a tech shirt and medal. Live racers also get a goodie bag and placement award trophies.
