Kids Zoo Run 2026

The Kids Zoo Run takes place on a September morning for children at the zoo, with the gates closing at 8:00 a.m. Children race by age group: ages 1-5 run a quarter mile, while ages 6-11 run a half mile. Parents may run alongside children ages 1-4. Each registration includes the race, a t-shirt, light snacks and drinks, a drawstring bag, and same-day zoo tickets for one adult and one child. All participants receive a finisher medal, and the top three girls and boys in each age division receive custom award medals. Families can buy discounted digital spectator tickets at race-morning packet pickup, with proof of registration and a limit of six per runner.
