LSSC Shamrock Shuffle 2027

The LSSC Shamrock Shuffle begins and ends at Lake-Sumter State College’s South Lake campus in Clermont, Florida. This yearly St. Patrick’s Day run offers a 1 Mile Fun Run, 5K, 10K, and a virtual option, accommodating families, novice runners, and those seeking a timed, longer race. The course departs campus, utilizing the South Lake Trail via the Hancock Extension before looping back to Lake-Sumter State College. Participants are timed, with awards for the top three male and female finishers in each race category. Registered runners will receive race merchandise, including a shirt, medal, or gift bag. Post-race amenities feature a Green Beer Garden for those 21 and older. Proceeds benefit the LSSC Foundation’s scholarship and educational initiatives at the college. Strollers and pets are prohibited on the course.
