Malta 2K, 3K, 5k Trail Race 2026

The Malta 2K, 3K, and 5K Trail Race begins near the soccer fields at Luther Forest Athletic Field in Malta, New York, leading runners into the 100 Acre Woods. This local trail event offers short 2K and 3K races preceding the 5K, accommodating children, families, hikers, less experienced runners, and regular trail runners within the same morning. The course follows trails maintained by volunteers, primarily on a six-foot-wide stone-dust path with some softer sections further into the woods. The Roundabout Runners Club organizes the race, with all proceeds supporting supplies and maintenance for the local trail network. Each finisher receives a medal, the 5K awards trophies to the top three overall male and female participants, and results are published online.
