About this race
From 4255 SE 58th Ave, this is a straightforward road-race setup built around a "scenic paved course" rather than a big-city spectacle. The feel is practical and runner-focused: line up, settle into rhythm, and work the out-and-back format without needing to decode a complicated route.
The shorter races use the same out-and-back course, with the next step up repeating it twice; the half marathon keeps coming back to that same shape four times. That makes it a good fit for runners who like knowing exactly what is ahead, dialing in splits, and seeing the field pass in both directions. The main hook is simple: compete for finisher medals, then cross the line with the hardware you came for.
