About this race
How fast can you run a mile?! This professionally timed mile run at Shawnee High School is an opportunity for the whole family. Youth runners ages 5-17 run for free. Youngest participants (ages 5-7) can enjoy a 400M lap. Kids must be 8 and up to run the full mile and should be capable of running it confidently. Beyond the Medford Mile Run, look forward to fun, food, and field events like shot put and long jump for various age groups. All proceeds go to the MYAA Track & Field Club, supporting young athletes!
