9th Annual Monster Dash - presented by the Now You SEE Me Foundation 2026

Monster Dash begins at Comanche Park in San Antonio, centered around Halloween. Runners, walkers, wheelchair athletes, and virtual participants are welcome. The event features a half marathon, 10K, 5K, a 5K wheelchair division, and a 1-mile run/walk/roll, plus a virtual option. It is hosted by the Now You SEE Me Foundation, with proceeds supporting spinal cord injury research and aid for Texas cyclists and runners who have sustained life-altering injuries during training. The longer races and the 5K wheelchair division provide water stops and Gatorade. Overall, masters, and age-group awards are given for multiple distances. The day includes a costume contest for participants, and pets can also compete in the costume contest for an additional fee. All finishers get an event shirt, medal, a Chick-fil-A meal card, Las Palapas breakfast tacos, and post-race drinks from Heineken and Dos Equis.
