About this race
This event honors Myles Davis Pope, lost to a drowning accident before his second birthday. It raises awareness of childhood drowning prevention, with proceeds benefiting the Myles Davis Pope Memorial Fund. The fund provides survival swim instruction for children 6 and under, CPR/First Aid and AED certification, and water safety education. The road course winds through Grace Ridge, welcoming recreational and competitive participants.
