Nelson Farm Weekend - Formerly Thurston Park Weekend (Maine Gravel Series)

From the "knuckleheads behind the Fon Solo/Cider Cross weekend," this event offers running and biking. Saturday features a short track race on "woods trails and marked and mowed fields," followed by a "last-man standing style running race" with a decreasing time limit per lap and a significant payout. Sunday is the "super fun gravel grind," a "killer ride" that's close to 70% non-pavement, with "distant views of Mt. Washington." All events are at Nelson Farm. Formerly Thurston Park Weekend, this series is designed for all abilities.
