About this race
The RRCA WV State Championship half marathon follows a rolling course from the city into West Virginia's scenic surroundings and back. Finish to the cheers of thousands of spectators lining Market Street, just ahead of the Parkersburg Homecoming Festival Parade. Half marathoners receive a tech shirt, pre-race pasta dinner, a finisher medal, and a post-race pizza luncheon. The two-mile event, also an RRCA West Virginia Championship, offers Company, Family, or School team options. Completing both the Odgen Newspaper Half Marathon and the Parkersburg News and Sentinel Half Marathon earns a special tech shirt.
