Pioneer Spirit Triathlon - Sprint, Mini, & Challenge | 5k Run

This mid-spring tri-series offers options for everyone. Novice triathletes, children, and adults can test their abilities in the Mini, featuring a heated indoor pool swim and a bike leg on a flat rural road. The Pioneer Spirit Triathlon Sprint features a longer swim and a bike ride on rolling and flat prairie road, with a run through Petersburg, past century-old architectural structures and a historic cemetery. The Tri-Challenge lets you test your stamina and talent by doing both back to back. There's also a 5k run/walk that follows the Sprint triathlon's run route. This event was named one of Triathlete’s 2025 Best Beginner Triathlons in the U.S.!
