About this race
This 11-mile open water swim follows the Willamette River, passing under all 12 of Portland’s bridges. Starting at Sellwood Riverfront Park and finishing at Cathedral Park, this swim is for experienced athletes. A sub-1:40 5000m pool swim is required to qualify. Safety boats monitor the course, and non-motorized craft can provide support.
