About this race
Part two of a campaign honoring those lost on 9/11. Runners continue a journey that began at the Flight 93 Memorial, carrying a flag to New York. The multi-day run begins after a reading honoring the 184 lives lost at the Pentagon. Participants tackle long days, starting at dawn, heading east across the Goethals Bridge. The journey culminates in Zuccotti Park, arriving before the first plane crashed, for a prayer vigil. Runners are also expected to help with fundraising and raising awareness.
