About this race
Run through the Fort Wayne Zoo, with your adventure taking you directly through Africa and Australia. This themed event offers a chance to travel through Stingray Bay and past the Peacock Cafe, making for a journey through animal habitats.
Be prepared for a course that includes concrete paths and wooden bridges to grass and gravel underfoot, all while navigating narrow zoo paths that necessitate a participant cap. Finishers earn a commemorative race shirt, timing bib, and a medal, plus free entry to the Fort Wayne Zoo on Saturday after the 5K, perfect for bringing along any junior runners under 10 who need an adult companion.
