About this race
This Heritage Park 5K keeps the memory of Fallen Soldiers & Veterans alive, reminding us that Freedom is never free. Before the race, we will say the names of all our Fallen Soldiers and Fallen Veterans. This year highlights military Veteran mental health, addressing the tragic reality of Veterans losing their battle with PTSD. We aim to educate the community on how Veterans go from serving our country to ending their lives way too early, and how we can make a difference in the life of a military Veteran so that tomorrow seems a little brighter for them. It's a family friendly event, with options for kids 14 and under.
