The Snowman Shuffle 4 Miler Run/Walk begins at Hogan's Fountain in Cherokee Park, offering a four-mile winter race. This event is the third and final race in the Polar Bear Grand Prix series, serving as both a standalone option and the concluding event for series participants. It benefits the Olmstead Parks Conservancy and is part of River City Races' Run the 502 series, where completing six races earns a finisher medal with charms. The route traces Beargrass Creek to Big Rock Park before looping back via the Scenic Loop. Participants include walkers, individual runners, age-group competitors, masters and grandmasters, and 3-to-5-person teams in male, female, and coed categories. Team scoring is based on the fastest three finishers; coed teams must include at least one woman. Teams that win all three Polar Bear Grand Prix races in their division receive a series team award. Additional race-day awards include overall trophies, masters and grandmasters trophies, and age-group awards for participants aged 9 and under.
