South Fork Alder Ass Race 2026

The 5th annual South Fork Alder Ass Race requires participants to secure a burro (additional fee) before registering. Burros are paired with runners based on pace and temperament, not on a first-come, first-served basis. Ghost runners will be equipped with traditional prospector gear. Once teamed, burro swapping is not permitted, as 'you gotta dance with the one that brung ya'.
