About this race
The marathon starts at midnight Saturday on a 2.95 mile paved loop around Rockland Lake. The course is smooth and recently repaved. You will complete just under 9 laps for the full marathon. Headlamps are recommended, as there are no lights on the course. Participants must be 18 or older. Every finisher earns a custom medal, and custom race shirts are available for early registrants. Proceeds support the Self-Transcendence 3,100 mile race.
