The Assault on Sunset Hill 3/6 hour 2026

The Assault on Sunset Hill is a 3- or 6-hour mountain bike endurance race held at the McClellan Multi-use Trails in Anniston, Alabama. It takes place over Labor Day weekend, beginning in the morning with participants aiming to complete as much trail as possible within their selected time frame. The race utilizes the Fort McClellan trail system. The challenge focuses on maintaining a steady pace on mountain bike terrain for an extended period, rather than a point-to-point course. Packet pickup is available before race day or at the pre-race gathering at THE NEABA HQ. A portion of the entry fees benefits the Shred For Sloan Scholarship Fund, The James M. Barrie Center for Children, and The Calhoun/Cleburne Children’s Center.
