The Joyce Allen Great Turkey Escape 2026

The Joyce Allen Great Turkey Escape starts and finishes at the Redding Community Center on Lonetown Road, Route 107, in Redding, Connecticut. This late-November local road event features a 5K run, a 5K walk, and a kids race of three-quarters of a mile or about 1K. The community center serves as race-day base, with the course beginning and ending on the road outside. A virtual 5K or kids-distance option is also available. Finishers receive a medal, a long-sleeve tech shirt, an embroidered winter beanie, and embroidered running gloves. Awards are presented three deep in five-year age groups, and proceeds are donated to beneficiaries.
