About this race
The General TJ Demon Costello Memorial Footrace, a tradition started at a family reunion in 2013, welcomes the Thousand Island Park community. This family-oriented event is open to walkers and strollers. The course covers dirt roads, grassy lawns, and one trail. Expect it to be poorly marked and open to traffic, with timing by teenagers using an iPhone. Your official time might be off. You're guaranteed a scenic run, good times and camaraderie, and maybe a cold drink or two at the finish line.
