The Tribe Fitness Challenge - Field is a 2.5-mile obstacle-style fitness race held at 185 Sawmill Road in Hamilton, New Jersey. The format is straightforward and demanding: eight workout stations, with 400-meter runs connecting them, requiring participants to alternate between cardio, strength, and recovery under pressure. It assesses endurance, strength, and mental fortitude over pure running speed.
The stations feature 15 calories on an Assault Bike, a 500-meter ski, 100 meters of Ram walking lunges, a 500-meter row, a sand bag suicide, and a 100-meter sled push before the final sprint. Two stations remain undisclosed, introducing an element of surprise even for those who have practiced the known movements. Participants can compete individually in Elite or Open Singles, as a pair in Elite or Open Doubles, as a four-person relay team, or represent a gym in the Gym Champions Relay. Elite competitors vie for age-group awards and banners, while doubles and relays allow friends and gym groups to share the effort.
