Urban Wilderness 50k 2026

The first annual Bear Mountain 50k will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024. This challenging 50-kilometer course will lead runners through Bear Mountain State Park, with an estimated 6,000 feet of elevation gain. The route includes technical single track, fire roads, and paved paths, offering scenic views of the Hudson River and the surrounding mountains. The event is anticipated to have a festive yet demanding atmosphere, suitable for a fall ultramarathon.
