Viewpoint Endurance Challenge 2026

The Viewpoint Endurance Challenge is a backyard ultramarathon held at Vista View Park. It operates on a strict half-hour clock, differing from typical start-to-finish races. Participants run a 2.083-mile loop, returning to the start area to await the next whistle. Runners still on the course when the subsequent segment begins are eliminated. The event spans 24 hours. Completing 48 loops totals 100 miles for those who consistently meet the whistle. Solo participants can attempt the entire distance, or teams of 2 to 4 runners can share the effort. This format accommodates serious ultrarunners and groups seeking the challenge without a single individual completing every lap.
