About this race
The Keirin Cup + Madison is an evening of track cycling at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center. Gates open at 6:00 pm, with racing beginning at 7:00 pm. The program features two velodrome races on the same night: Keirin, where riders follow a pacing motorcycle before sprinting for the finish, and Madison, a race for two-rider teams who swap turns with hand-slings at speed.
The racing takes place on the center’s 333-meter track, allowing spectators to view repeated attacks, exchanges, and sprints from close range. The event also includes food trucks, bounce houses, children’s bike racing games, and Velo-Deck beverage sales. General admission is $12, children under 9 are admitted free, and seniors and first responders pay $10.
