Wendell Foster Half Marathon & 5K 2027

The Wendell Foster Half Marathon & 5K weekend is based in Owensboro, Kentucky. The race expo and check-in are held at the Owensboro Convention Center prior to race day. Runners collect bibs and shirts at the expo, which also features running gear, local vendors, hydration and nutrition products, photo opportunities, local organizations, and supporters of Wendell Foster. While Friday expo attendance is optional, all participants must check in before the race; early check-in helps reduce race-day lines. The 5K begins and ends at Smothers Park on the Owensboro riverfront, located at 199 West Veterans Boulevard. This race is open to all ages and suitable for walkers, joggers, novice racers, families, friends, and competitive runners. The event benefits Wendell Foster, and the 5K concludes with an official after-party at Goodwood.
