About this race
The 2026 Wood County, Texas - Ruck for the Fallen honors heroes who served our nation and made the ultimate sacrifice defending American freedoms. Participants can challenge themselves physically, with an optional ruck (35lbs minimum). Race as a battle buddy or fire team, starting and finishing together. Proceeds go to the Boot Campaign to unite Americans to honor and restore the lives of Veterans and military families, and to the Quitman Lake Country Charitable Foundation.
