Youngstown Peace Race 2026

The Youngstown Peace Race is an annual fall race series in Youngstown, Ohio, with over fifty editions. The morning includes a 25K, an 11K, a 2-mile run/walk, a free 400-meter kids run for children 10 and under, and a virtual option. All in-person races finish at the monument where Federal Plaza meets Wick Avenue in Downtown Youngstown. The 11K is a point-to-point race starting near Kirk Road and South Schenley Avenue, with drop-off at Kirkmere Elementary School. It runs through Mill Creek Park before heading downtown. The kids run starts just west of Federal Plaza and Wick Avenue, while the 2-mile run/walk begins from the downtown square. This setup accommodates various runners: 25K participants, 11K runners on the park course, walkers and casual runners on the 2-mile, and young children in their own short race near the shared finish.
