Wonderland Run 2026

Wonderland Run is a late-August trail running weekend held in Halls Gap, within Victoria's Grampians National Park. The start and finish are located at the Halls Gap Visitor Information Centre on Grampians Road. The race offers distances ranging from a 2km kids event to 10km, 20km, 37km, and 50km options. The 20km can also be completed as a hike, accommodating participants who are not solely focused on longer trail running distances. The event's schedule is divided between shorter races on Saturday and longer events on Sunday. The 50km ultra and 20km hike begin early, followed by the 20km and 37km trail runs. The 50km route has been updated, and the 10km distance replaces a former 8km option. Entry requirements have been simplified, allowing participants to select their preferred distance, though aid station time limits are enforced. Course maps, historical results, photographs, and race instructions are available on the event's website, and volunteers play a key role in the weekend's operations.
