The Georgia TT Endurance Challenge is an ultracycling race held at New Ebenezer Retreat Center in South Georgia. Its primary appeal lies in its flat roads and minimal traffic. Participants can select from 100 miles, 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, or 500 miles, accommodating both those preparing for a long day and those aiming for a greater distance.
The daytime route is a 30-mile out-and-back loop from the retreat center to Clyo, featuring infrequent truck traffic. For the 24-hour race, cyclists transition to a 6-mile night loop, always remaining within 3 miles of the start-finish. This night loop runs between the retreat center and a large traffic circle. Larry Oslund initiated the event, having previously contributed to the revival of Sebring and Calvin’s Challenge. The 500-mile race offers gender divisions and 5-year age categories.
