Rugged granite country sets the tone: rough backroads, big views, and that dry-country feel where the climbs make you earn every lookout. Gravel n Granite is pitched as “Epic routes. No ego.”, which sounds about right for a weekend of adventure gravel and mountain bike riding built around challenge, scenery, and shared effort.
Expect National Park backroads, fast gravel, rugged terrain, “big climbs & fast descents,” and a finish that rolls you back toward a buzzing Race Village rather than just a timing mat. The field is broad in the best way: gravel bikes, mountain bikes, e-bikes, families, and adaptive riders on hand cycles all have a place, with local beer, music & good food waiting afterward in a country town that shows up for the weekend.
