Carrera Popular Joaquinesca 2026

The Carrera Popular Joaquinesca is a Christmas-season road race held in Bigastro, offering 10k and 5k distances on an urban circuit. The race begins at 10 AM, starting and finishing at the Municipal Auditorium Francisco Grau, which is also where participants collect their bibs. The primary circuit measures 5,000 meters. 5k participants will run one lap, while 10k participants will complete two laps. This event marks its 13th edition and is part of the town council's Christmas program. Additionally, there are short races for children: 100 meters for toddlers, 400 meters for younger children, 800 meters for children, and 1,200 meters for older children.
