TriTour El Pont de Suert 2026

The swim begins in Escales Reservoir, lending TriTour El Pont de Suert a mountain-race character before athletes mount their bikes. This July triathlon takes place in the Catalan Pyrenees, headquartered in El Pont de Suert, Spain, with the start and finish lines located within the town. The event provides multiple race distances: Sprint, Olympic, Short, and Aquabike. The Olympic distance features the standard 1,500m swim, 40km bike, and 10km run. The Short format adjusts this with a 950m swim, 60km bike, and 10km run. Aquabike participants complete a 950m swim and a 60km bike, focusing on the swim-bike challenge. The cycling portion crosses the Vall de Boi, and the run follows the Noguera Ribagorzana River. The Short and Aquabike bike courses incorporate 1,200m of elevation gain, demanding significant climbing ability. Approximately 600 athletes participate annually, and the race has a history spanning over ten years. The events commence early, a consideration for a Pyrenean July. All finishers are awarded a medal, and registration includes a gift bag and an event T-shirt.
