BalatonFondo 2023

Annagora Aquapark is the start for the 1st BalatonFondo, a road cycling marathon. This event commemorates the "Hungarian Giro Nagy Rajt 1 year anniversary." The route heads through the "roads of Balaton-uplands," taking in Tihany and the Káli Basin. The Káli Basin is known as "Hungarian Tuscany," giving the course a distinctiveness beyond a standard out-and-back sportive. The main draw here is "closed roads" and a ride that is "completely traffic-free" while within the time limit. Police and civil guard provide support.
