V. Balaton MTB Maraton

The start-finish area is at the Balaton Leisure and Conference Center, providing the V. Balaton MTB Maraton with a dedicated race base instead of a makeshift area. This is the fifth edition, and the weekend follows a "three-day holiday" pattern: a children's race precedes the main event, followed by a family tour for a relaxed cooldown. The route combines established and new sections, traversing scenic countryside near Balatonszőlős, Hidegkút, Pécsely, Barnag, and Vászoly before cyclists approach the finish from Balatonszőlős. Supporter zones are established to allow friends, family, and teammates to easily reach the course and offer encouragement, which always impacts the perception of difficult sections. Post-race amenities include warm showers, changing rooms, a restaurant operating without plastic, and discounted entry to the adjacent pool, with awards presented on a new covered stage.
