The Cromwell Half Marathon begins and ends at Alpha Street Reserve in Cromwell, New Zealand. Participants will run the Lake Dunstan Cycle Trail in October. The event offers three options: a 10 km solo run, a half marathon solo run, or a 21 km team relay. Walkers and runners of all ages and paces are welcome. The three-hour cut-off accommodates both training runs and competitive efforts.
The course follows the lake edge from Alpha Street Reserve towards Pisa Moorings and returns, offering open views of Lake Dunstan and the dry Central Otago hills. Relay teams exchange runners at designated points along the route, with an initial change after 1.2 km and subsequent handovers every few kilometres. Race packs and late entries are available the afternoon before the event. A briefing will occur on race morning, and prize-giving commences at the course cut-off time.
