Bieg z Sercem WOŚP Chorzów is a charity run in TAURON Park Śląski in Chorzów, where each kilometer supports Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy. The standard distance is 5 km, but participants can complete additional laps for 10 km or longer, with no maximum lap count provided they finish before the event concludes. This is an open, family-friendly event offering 1,500 spots and no age restrictions, allowing children, adults, experienced runners, walkers, and beginners to participate together in the same fundraiser.
The course begins near Stadion Śląski and proceeds through the park and the city’s recreational zones. The schedule includes more than a typical road race: runners begin first, followed by dog trekking a few minutes later, and then Nordic Walking. Dogs are specifically permitted, contributing to a relaxed, community atmosphere rather than solely a competitive one. This is the eleventh edition, and the format maintains a straightforward approach: run at your own pace, complete any number of 5 km laps, and transform a winter Sunday activity into tangible support for WOŚP.
